Job Title: Technical Security Consultant
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark (remote working within Denmark possible)
Reports to: Regional Manager, Nordics
As a technical security consultant, you will be engaged in various projects where you will be assessing the security posture of different technologies for our clients. The role entails technical assessments of the client systems and facilitates penetration testing, privacy considerations, continuity and business relevant risk evaluation.
The role will have you engage with clients and senior staff, producing strong quality in the technical engagements.
Examples of the types of projects are listed below, but is not an exhaustive or finalized list:
- Web applications and the system in its entirety
- Mobile application security
- Internal infrastructure assessments
The variety in the engagements will be plenty with a strong opportunity to grow your skill set and will provide you with ample challenges and new technologies.
Many of the engagements are time limited and you will therefore be able to finalize projects and move onto new. However, many clients grow a close and trusted relationship with our consultants and there will also be many opportunities to drive longer term projects and transformations.
The technical competencies you possess will be brought out fully and the integration with our risk management consultants will be used to grow both you and the end product.

As a technical security consultant it is relevant, but not strictly necessary, to be proficient or have a drive to become proficient within the following competency areas:
- Web application’s design and implementation
- Networking and protocols
- Vulnerability discovery and exploitation
- Penetration testing concepts and tools
- Risk evaluation and vulnerability ratings
We expect a technical security consultant to have a minimum of one year of experience within the cyber security field or more. Furthermore, you will also be working closely with clients, therefore communicative skills that can relay technical observations will be a great asset in your daily function.

- International engagements
As a technical security consultant, there are many paths to take. This range from the traditional senior -> principal consultant. However, the integration between our delivery department also facilitates the ability to join risk management or a more managerial level.
