A Hacker's Confessions

Our “A Hacker’s Confessions” series, where we show how malicious hackers operate in real life, is coming to Norway. This one-and-a-half hour session will focus on how attackers use any means necessary to exploit the weakest link in your security setup.

Red Teaming: Exploiting the Weakest Link

The old adage that your security is only as strong as its weakest link is just as relevant today as it has ever been. Attackers will always try to exploit the weakest link - whether they find it to be a network or a system vulnerability, or the people in your organisation. This means that putting all of your efforts into a particular area of your IT security might not necessarily make you more secure - as long as you offer the attacker another, more convenient attack vector. This is where Red Teaming comes in, with the aim of breaching your defences - by any means necessary.

War Stories and Lessons Learned

One of our white hat hackers will give you real-life examples from our Red Team engagements, and will offer advice on how to avoid similar scenarios in your organisation. He will let you in inside the minds of the cyber criminals that make a living by attacking organisations, helping you understand the threats that you should prepare for.

Key Takeaways
  • How does a hacker think and operate, and how are organisations typically attacked?
  • How do you protect your organisation against cyber and physical attacks?
  • How can you help your employees stay vigilant about the threats to your organisation?
